About this contract

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust requires a proven and readily available Renal IT system to succeed the existing di-Proton system. The Renal Services are a tertiary service commissioned by NHSE and are organised and manged on a hub and spoke model with Preston being the hub providing acute and chronic dialysis. The spokes provide satellite Haemodialysis in Chorley, Accrington, Burnley, Blackburn, Blackpool and Kendal. The service also runs outpatient clinics across East Lancashire, Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and Morecambe Bay. Renal currently have 515 dialysis patients across the hub and satellite units and a further 95 patients who are dialysing at home.
