About this contract

The Isle of Wight Council (\"the Authority\") invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers (\"Potential Suppliers\") for the refurbishment of the top floor of the The Gouldings Resource Centre, St Andrews Way, Freshwater PO40 9NH. The Works comprise the alteration and general refurbishment of the top floor of the premises, converting the current 18 small bedrooms into 9 rooms of more suitable proportions each with en-suite facilities together with conversion of the activity room into an office space for community support workers. The works comprise not only the physical changes and general building refurbishment but also modernisation of the associated building services, together with other consequential works elsewhere in the premises such as improvements to the lighting and the re-covering the flat roof to the main lounge / kitchen area.
