About this contract

Lewisham Council is seeking a provider to deliver a resettlement support service for refugee families as part of the Home Office's current refugee resettlement schemes. The service will include, but is not limited to: - Pre-arrival preparation with local services and community groups - Initial reception services for the refugees including "meet and greet" at the airport, a welcome pack and an initial orientation - Orientation services including support to register for local health, education, ESOL and benefits services - Ongoing support over 12 months to integrate service users into the community and to build service users' skills, moving towards independence and step-down - Support for families stepped down through a drop-in centre Full details are set out in the accompanying specification and interested suppliers are invited to a session on Friday 14 June 2019 in the Civic Suite, Catford, SE6 4RU.
