About this contract
Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority (MWDA) is a statutory waste disposal authority which, with its District Council partners, takes a lead in advocating and delivering recycling, waste prevention, and the safe and effective disposal of household waste for the residents of Merseyside and Halton (together, the 'Liverpool City Region'). MWDA is seeking to engage an organisation/individual who will be able to effectively manage external services and suppliers throughout all aspects of the campaign and display strong overall project management. MWDA runs public awareness and engagement campaigns through the Authority's Recycle Right brand. MWDA would like to run two linked campaigns focussing on the issue of contamination. Recycling contamination occurs when items that cannot be recycled locally are put in kerbside recycling bins. MWDA has the brand Recycle Right to deliver public engagement across the Liverpool City Region which includes Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Halton and Wirral.
