About this contract

The Works comprise the provision of fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors and fire barrier upgrades to the Red Tape / AVEC building, which is situated in the city centre of Sheffield. Completion of the works will ensure that the building is fully compliant with fire safety regulations and can continue to operate in its intended capacity. External works also include the construction of a new fire escape stairs and landing. The Contractor shall also be responsible for the completion of the design for: o The external fire escape steps/landing o The ironmongery schedule o The new Brown Street external fire escape door and frame (EDG01) o The fire alarm system o The final cable routing for electrical works Additional information: The Suitability Assessment and Tender Documents are now available to download by logging into YORtender and searching for the job reference number RE04852 - FIRE RISK WORKS - RED TAPE / AVEC, SHEFCC001-DN451803-30326506. The Suitability Assessment and Tender Documents are to be returned electronically.
