About this contract

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) aims to source a provider to co-design, develop and deliver a development programme for front line staff (and those who support them) to increase their awareness and skills in coaching and communication so they can be applied in practice to improve our patient/service user ownership, engagement and management of their own health challenges. This approach when applied effectively can demonstrate improved health and motivational outcomes (ref 'Health Coaching' literature). The 'co-design' element is to incorporate some tools/models already now in use (GROW, Push/Pull styles of communication) for which there is now internal evidence and a demand/appetite to scale up and extend - so we wish to build on what has begun to be familiar, whilst not constraining the provider to add their unique value.
