About this contract

This ITT is for Companies wishing to tender for the provision in connection with the supply of a new Tier 3 backup generators for the campuses main data centre. The University houses two data centres on site, one originally constructed in the 1970's (data centre 1 ) and the other constructed 2010 (data centre 2). The project \"replacement generators\" refers only to data centre 1, where the existing single 500 kva backup generator is to be replaced with two tier 3 600 kva (minimum capacity) backup generators, allowing this facility to become a tier 3 facility. This contract is for the supply and commissioning only of two number tier 3 backup generators (installation to be carried out by others), that are required to be onsite by end of June 2019 and operational by the 15th August.
