PURCH2922 Provision of Contract Agreement for the Provision of Diamond CVD Growth Tool for a minimum period of 12 Months with the option to extend for up to 4 x 12 months additional periods. This procurement process is being conducted using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN) in accordance with the requirements of Regulation 30 of the PC(S)R 2015. Although this procurement is being conducted under the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN), it is structured differently from a typical CPN process. This approach has been adopted to enhance the efficiency of evaluating supplier responses across both stages (SPD and ITT). The University wishes to procure a diamond growth tool capable of producing 4" diameter substrates of polycrystalline diamond for use as heat spreader material. The tool will also be capable of producing up to 2" diameter single-crystal diamond substrates. This will enable studies into improving heat rejection from high power devices and advanced materials with poor thermal conductivity.
