About this contract

An integrated PHEYS, covering preconception through until the child reaches 5 years of age that prioritises giving every child the best start in life and contributes to ensuring children in Calderdale are happy, healthy, safe and successful – reducing health inequalities across the life course and other social and economic inequalities throughout life. The PHEYS will be offered to all parents / carers of 0-5 year olds living in Calderdale. The main components of the PHEYS are: • health and development reviews • screening and immunisation promotion • promotion of social and emotional development • support for parenting • effective promotion of health and behaviour change (for parents / carers)
