About this contract

This contract is for the Provision of VAT Audit and Recovery Services to Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful supplier will provide VAT Audit and Recovery Services for the full contract period including all transactions up to the last day of the contract period. The VAT Audit and Recovery Services comprise of: COS review of revenue and capital invoices (monthly); Business activity review (monthly), including Partial Exemption calculations; Review of sales invoices (monthly); Partial Exemption adjustment (annually); Up-front review of capital schemes (when requested); VAT help-line; Assistance with any other VAT claims or reviews (when requested); VAT training; Legal document review for tax consequences (when requested); Reviews must be carried out by a senior staff member with extensive experience of carrying out similar reviews in the past. CVs may be sought during or after the tender exercise for evidence of this. Shared Business Services (SBS) provide an outsourced financial service function to Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful supplier must be prepared to work effectively and constructively with SBS. The relationship between the supplier and SBS will be managed by the Trust.
