About this contract
Birmingham Voluntary Services Council (‘BVSC’) is the responsible Authority for the creation, delivery and support of voluntary support services to citizens in the Birmingham are and is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers who can meet all of the legal requirements of for the provision of specialised training services. Aim and Objectives The aim of this Contract is to develop a PIE culture and ethos amongst organisations working with Birmingham Changing Futures Together (BCFT). BVSC, through this Contract, will offer; • up to 20 No Wrong Door organisations PIE training. • A minimum of 15 organisations will be trained. • Individuals who complete the PIE training will be offered psychologically-based reflective practice for up to 12 months. The knowledge generated from delivering this service will feed into the Project’s evidence base and be used to inform Systems Change. The overall aim of the Birmingham Changing Futures Together (BCFT) is to facilitate a cultural change in the commissioning and delivery of services for people with multiple complex needs. The development of an evidence base around systems improvement and effective interventions is a vital part of the Birmingham Project. Constraints BVSC’s primary focus is the delivery of appropriate support in a field of wide and deep demands. Accordingly, its resources and available funds are always stretched. Furthermore, BVSC’s ethos is to find the most economically effective means of achieving its aims. Contract The overall Contract life is expected to run from February 2016 for a 30-month period.
