About this contract

Public health England (PHE) currently uses the Cryogatt RFID system for 'Sample Achieving and Retrieval' management at our Porton Down site. The RFID technology means that samples are tagge, traceable and held in cryogenic storage. This opportunity is for the provision of the consumables currently used for the system. These are the: - RFID tagged Sarstedt Vial Sleeve 2ml cryo-vial - RFID enabled 10x 10 Wheaton cryo-storage boxes. Also included will be an annual Maintenance agreement for 3 years for the following: - Quantity 2: Combination Reader (RFID/Barcode) - Quantity 2: 10X10 RFID Box Reader - Quantity 2: Fanless Panel PC - Quantity 2: Enterprise Software And the Maintenance Support should include: - Full telephone support operating Monday-Friday between 9.0am and 5.0pm. - One onsite maintenance visit per annum. - System hardware repair/replacement service. - Routine software upgrades.
