About this contract

Southend Borough Council is carrying out this procurement exercise in the form of an Open Tender for provision of rail consultancy services to support procurement of new replacement trains for Southend on Sea Pier from the initial stage to completion of the project by the appointed contractor, up to 12 months of new trains operating in service. Exact dates to be agreed with the successful Consultant. Contract duration is 36 months based upon 24 months from the 'developing the specification' stage to 'delivery and installation' and 12 months of in service support. Expected Commencement date: 8th April 2019
