About this contract

The Trust is looking for an interim (up to 2 yrs) outsourced MRI solution to bridge the current gap between its MR demand and available capacity. The type of exams that may be outsourced are those of a more complex nature & include, Prostate, Neurology, Rheumatology and Cardiac scanning. The requirement is to provide a locally available and accessible service for our Patients that is primarily a booking and scanning service only. However the Trust may also be interested in discussing a fully reported service should this be an area that providers feel able to deliver given the more complex nature of the examinations being referred”. Additional information: It is anticipated that there will be a demand to utilise the agreement for the first six months. However, after the first six months, it is expected that demand will reduce due to internal service developments and reconfigurations such that some time after month 6 and before month 24 of the agremeent demand will become more sporadic and eventually will reduce to zero.
