About this contract

Hull City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Museum Exhibition & Interpretation consultancy team to provide design services, and Project Management, to support the delivery of the 'Maritime Project', or Hull: Yorkshire's Maritime City (HYMC). Hull City Council has been successful in securing funding, including Heritage Lottery funding, for the development of the Maritime Project (Hull: Yorkshire's Maritime City), which is to include the renovation of existing buildings, including museums, places, and historic ships linked to Hull's maritime history, and the creation of new visitor centres and city centre landscaping, including Queen Gardens and associated highways alterations and crossings. Hull City Council is now seeking to appoint a Museum Exhibition & Interpretation Team from suppliers that can provide a full Exhibition and Interpretation Design service, with associated mechanical & engineering, specialist Quantity Surveying, and NEC contract administration consultancy for the development, design, and delivery of the Exhibition and Interpretation scheme. Participating suppliers should ensure that they subsequently complete and return their tender submission, together with the standard questionnaire contained within ITT Part 2, and any relevant enclosures, and ensure that this is uploaded to Hull City Council's electronic tender portal, YORtender, by 12:00 Noon BST on Monday 21st May 2018. It is important that all relevant parts to the Tender Return are submitted, including the responses to the Quality Questions, the Tender Pricing Schedules for both Part 1 and Part 2 of the commission, and the completed NEC Contract Data Part Two return. Responses to the questions should be returned in the same order, and using the same numbering convention, as set out in the tender documents. Applicants may insert additional space for responses, or insert additional sheets, if required. The YORtender site is accessed by weblink https://www.yortender.co.uk. Suppliers will need to register on this site if they have not previously done so. (Registration is free and takes only a few minutes to complete). The specific Contract Ref. on YORtender is DN331103. Please note also that this tender opportunity has been advertised in the OJEU, and has the specific OJEU Notice Ref. 2018/S 074 - 165888.
