About this contract

Danvm Drainage Commissioners are inviting tenders for the provision of Hydraulic Modelling and Optioneering Services. Danvm Drainage Commissioners ("IDB") has commissioned and completed a hydraulic model of its open channel and pumped drainage network in order to achieve the following: • Gain a more comprehensive understanding of fluvial flood risk from the IDB network; • Provide an evidence based decision making tool to be used to support funding applications for undertaking works on the system e.g. pump replacement and ditch realignment. This is the first time an IDB has approached hydraulic modelling from a Drainage District-wide perspective to inform future strategy and provide an evidenced based decision tool in relation to Asset Management and Total Catchment Management. The next stage in the development of the hydraulic model and therefore evidenced- based decision process is further Optioneering with the base hydraulic model, as set out and required by this Contract. Danvm Drainage Commissioners therefore wish to demonstrate the benefits of water level management for the Drainage District through hydraulic modelling and optioneering, or testing, of the base hydraulic model. Further information is available in the specification. Please note that North Lincolnshire Council are acting as commissioned procurement agents only on this project. Any resulting contract will be between Danvm Drainage Commissioners and the successful tenderer. The deadline for the submission of tender is 12noon 4 August 2017.
