About this contract
Oxfordshire's Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy has a focus on targeting socially disadvantaged groups and giving them the support to help them to help themselves. Priority 10 of the strategy is 'Tackling the broader determinants of health through better housing and preventing homelessness'. The Hostel for People with Complex Needs is designed to contribute to meeting this priority. The Hostel for People with Complex Needs forms part of the Oxfordshire Homeless Pathway which is a suite of services designed to provide accommodation-based housing related support for homeless people primarily aged 18-65. These services assist in the prevention of homelessness and the reduction of rough sleeping. They support people who have been homeless to achieve independence. Interested providers must have a proven track record of delivering hostel-based accommodation and of working successfully with a registered provider of social housing to deliver this type of service.
