About this contract

LSHTM is currently carrying out clinical trials in Africa. The use of Fungizone is required as part of these trials and we are expected to run out of stock by mid-May. It is currently estimated that we will require a further 1,810 vials of Fungizone to complete the trials. The fungizone will be administered in five countries, across 7-8 hospitals as follows: 1. Princess Marina Hospital, Gaborone, Botswana 2. Parirenyatwa Hospital, Harare, Zimbabwe 3. Mitchells Plain Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa (with possible extension to Khayelitsha District Hospital, Cape Town) 4. Kamuzu Central Hospital, Lilongwe, Malawi 5. Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, Blantyre, Malawi 6. Kiruddu General Hospital, Kampala, Uganda 7. Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, Mbarara, Uganda LSHTM will be responsible for shipping the items but the correct export documentation must be provided. LSHTM is therefore looking for suppliers that can meet the highly urgent timescales to provide the Fungizone. We are looking for quotations from suppliers that feel that have worked with Fungizone previously and can demonstrate that they can meet these requirements in a timely manner.
