About this contract

Bradford Council is inviting tenders for The South Bradford Cluster of Childrens Centres which is one of three Clusters being made available for tender in Bradford. The other Clusters are East Bradford BFDMDC-A6UD-5NUQZW and BD5 Cluster BFDMDC-A6TF-3A8I7C (please see individual contracts for details) The South Bradford Cluster covers a diverse area which includes the housing estates of Bierley, Holmewood, Woodside, Buttershaw, Wyke and the suburban areas of Queensbury and Tyersal with very varied demographic profiles, the majority being very deprived but some relatively affluent. It is made up of seven of the original children's centre reach areas which are Bierley, Holmewood and Tyersal (BHT), Reevy Hill, Victoria Hall, Woodside and Wyke. The cluster reach covers approximately 16.5 square miles. There are 7152 children age 0-4 years in the cluster reach (2014). Below is a brief description of each of the former reach areas. The successful Provider for the South Bradford Cluster will work co-operatively and pro-actively with partner organisations to deliver a full range of Children's Centre services in line with the Children's Centre Statutory Guidance. They will provide high quality local services which are economically efficient and have a positive impact on children, young people and families.
