About this contract

Public Health England (PHE) requires the provision of an automated magnetic bead cell separation system. The currently available system is used in a range of projects, some supported by external funding, on a regular basis. The equipment supports the research objectives in Radiation Effects and, potentially Toxicology Departments at CRCE. The supplier has informed us that it is now beyond repair and so presents a significant risk of failure. Replacement is therefore essential to avoid delays to planned work. The provision of new equipment will remove this risk from our current operating conditions and allow bids for broadly similar work requiring cell separation and purification to continue to be made.
