About this contract

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) are the professional regulator for nurses and midwives in the UK, and nursing associates in England. Our vision is safe, effective, and kind nursing and midwifery practice that improves everyone's health and well-being. As the independent regulator of more than 808,000 nursing and midwifery professionals, the NMC have an important role to play in making this a reality. The NMC are seeking to commission work to help us to: • Consider what contributes to effective practice learning by looking at models of practice learning across UK and in other countries. • Be able to explain differences in practice learning hours in other countries and the specific factors that facilitate this. • Identify any further areas for exploration with our stakeholders in health and social care on this issue. The Nursing and Midwifery Council are commissioning one piece of work, with two main outputs: • A review of practice learning in the UK for both nursing and midwifery. • A review of international literature related to inclusive and effective practice learning environments in nursing and midwifery. Responses to the ITT are to be completed electronically using the NMC's e-sourcing portal https://nmcprocurementportal.force.com/s/Welcome ('e-Sourcing Portal') The e-Sourcing Portal provides a web-based tool that enables the NMC and candidates and tenderers to conduct the strategic activities of the procurement lifecycle over the internet. It provides a simple, secure and efficient means for managing tendering and quotation activities, reducing the time and effort required for both the NMC (and other buyers) and potential providers / suppliers. Project Reference: C1302 Before completing their Tender Submission, potential candidates and tenderers should ensure that the email address that has been used to register will be checked regularly.
