About this contract

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (the Council) and Richmond Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking to appoint up to three (3) Service Providers to provide voluntary sector infrastructure and capacity building services. The Council has a role in helping to build the capacity and infrastructure of voluntary organisations. One way it does this is through funding the provision of second tier support services to voluntary sector and not-for-profit organisations other than through front-line services. The requirements fall under three separate lots. Lot 1 is for the provision of strategic leadership, representation and voice for the voluntary and community sector, providing a single point of contact to other specialist infrastructure services. Lot 2 is for the development of the voluntary and community sectors and small businesses with a social purpose sectors' skills base and sustainability. Lot 3 is for building the capacity of the voluntary sector to recruit and retain volunteers, and a volunteer matching and placement scheme. The Council will appoint to each lot the highest scoring Tenderer once the evaluation process has been completed. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years in 12 month increments. Additional information: This tender is a Light-Touch single stage process, and is being carried out in accordance with section 75 as set out in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR). And as such this tender not bound by the open proceedure, but is bound by the requirement to comply with transparency , non-discrimination and equal treatment principles
