About this contract
Worcestershire County Council is seeking the regeneration of the Shrub Hill Quarter, Worcester. This proposed development has the potential to become one of the largest regeneration initiatives in the region, offering a unique opportunity to transform a significant part of Worcester and create an exemplary mixed-use neighbourhood. Developers are invited to take part in this soft market testing exercise. Over the past few years, Worcestershire County Council has begun to unlock long-term opportunities by developing a concept masterplan, the Shrub Hill Spatial Blueprint, and securing funding to aid with the demolition and redevelopment of the site. Following Cabinet approval in March 2024 Worcestershire County Council now intend to formally procure a development partner in Autumn 2024, and this soft market exercise will inform the offer, approach and structure to that process, resulting in the successful delivery of the vision to create a vibrant, mixed use destination. Developers are invited to download the attached Information Pack and respond to the questions raised through the procurement portal Additional information: Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No
