This will incorporate an insights project on the barriers to breastfeeding in areas of highest deprivation in Birmingham and Solihull, directly addressing disadvantage and entrenched formula-feeding cultures in communities. In partnership with the NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board (BSol ICB) and the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS), Birmingham and Solihull Council's are now looking for a provider to develop a comprehensive, co-produced five year, infant feeding strategy with recommendations and action plan to improve breastfeeding outcomes in Birmingham and Solihull.
