About this contract

This project covers the undertaking of works to upgrade and replace the Power Management System [PMS] at the Met Office's FitzRoy Road site in Exeter.   Whereby, the successful contractor will be required to;   design,   manufacture,   test (offsite),   deliver,   install,   test and   commission     a fully functional replacement solution, suitable for retrofit within the confines of the existing system, that meets the performance requirements detailed within this document.  Such that we are looking to receive bids for competent organisations, who have a track record in delivering similar systems. Interested bidders should be available to commit the work on contract award late October, and deliver their proposed solution in a time frame of around 26 weeks The work is being undertaken to mitigate obsolescence issues with some of the existing hardware sub-systems and to ensure all replaced elements are RoHS compliant.
