About this contract
It is our intention to deliver a mixed tenure regeneration project to around 800 properties. We consider this project to be broken down into three key areas: The physical refurbishment of around 800 properties The development of 92 new homes on the estate Landscaping of 9 courtyards and open space The creation of a community who is involved, engaged and proud of where they live. The refurbishment works consists of : Roofing External Wall insulation Window and Door replacements Boiler replacements Kitchen and Bathroom replacements The new build is subject to planning which is expected to be given in December 2016 but Moat reserve the right to remove the new build element from the project dependant on financial viability. Work will be required to both tenanted and freeholder properties and the successful contractor will need to be able to offer refurbishment works to freeholders under separate arrangements direct with those freeholders. Any associated energy efficiency funding will need to be secured by the contractor. The contractor will be expected to support the social regeneration of the estate (Pollards Hill CR41) through the contribution of social value.
