About this contract

The aim of this enhanced Autism Support Project is to support Autistic Adults who have no learning disability to manage behaviours that challenge thereby reducing/preventing the need for the use of restrictive practices, inpatient services and out-of-area/residential placements. This project is intended to pilot enhanced community support for 20 adults with autism who do not have a learning disability. The project is being hosted by Cumbria County Council working in partnership with North Cumbria CCG and Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and is funded by NHS England.
