Intention to award.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is directly awarding a contract to the existing provider Primary Eyecare Services under Direct Award C under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) regulations 2023.
There has been a programme of work to redesign the referral pathway. The agreed new pathway requires to work with optometric practices which will support the pathway by providing the NHS diagnostic services. The pathway requires the supplier to undertake the initial OCT scans. The supplier will facilitate the contracts with all eligible optometric practices across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The supplier will manage finances, activity, quality and compliance with all optometric practices.
The total expected value of the contract for the 24 month contract term is £90,840.00. The cost is based on the activity planned for the contract provider. Additional information: Primary Eye Care Solutions have satisfied the existing contract to a sufficient standard according to the detail outlines in the contract.£90,840
