About this contract
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (the Authority), represented by the British Embassy in Mexico City, seeks to appoint one Service Supplier to provide strategic and technical support for the implementation of the Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS) in procurement platforms currently under development with the Mexican federal government and the State of Mexico City government (CDMX). The work will be undertaken under the supervision of the Global Digital Marketplace Programme's Latin America Regional team (Product and Delivery manager) with the support from the British Embassy in Mexico City, through regular planning and review meetings with the delivery partner to ensure that the work aligns with the programme vision and objectives, and review progress against these. Active knowledge transfer is a deliverable to occur between a technical specialist on OCDS implementation and the procurement system development team in order to build capability to continue OCDS implementation for the continued development of the procurement system. The primary beneficiary of this project will be the Federal Government of Mexico - Ministry of Finance (Hacienda); and the Government of the City of Mexico State (CDMX) - Digital Agency/ Agencia Digital de Innovación Pública (ADIP). Also, the Executive Secretariat of the National Anti-Corruption System (SESNA) is a secondary beneficiary as the currently live National Digital Platform (PDN) system has a dependency to aggregate data in which OCDS standards are followed. A final report with key recommendations is expected to be delivered to the GDMP team as part of the knowledge transfer and handover at the end of the present engagement.
