About this contract

This contract will cover the requirements of the Occupational Health Unit, based at the Civic Centre, Gateshead, which is part of Human Resources & Workforce Development. The Council is currently looking to appoint a 1 day per week lead Occupational Health Physician and 1 half day per two weeks second Occupational Health Physician to work on ill health retirement cases and other appointments, conduct statutory and other medical examinations and give advice and guidance on the implications of individual cases.
