About this contract

The City of London are tendering for Oak Processionary Moth Control Services. Works to include the spraying and removal of nests in affected trees. Services will be required to cover all open spaces owned or managed by the City, in and around London. Due to the geographical spread of the City Open Space Sites the services will be split into two lots: - Lot 1 - South London, North Surrey and South Bucks Area - Lot 2 - North and East London Areas Lot 1 will cover Open Spaces owned or manged by the City across South London, North Surrey and South Bucks areas. This will include but not limited to the City Commons - West Wickham, Stoke Common, Ashtead Common and Burnham Beaches. This will include but not limited to: Hampstead Heath, Highgate Woods, Queens Park, Epping Forest, City Parks, West Ham Park and City of London Cemetery and Crematorium. For Lot 1 - The estimated annual contract value is therefore £70,000. For Lot 2 - The estimated annual contract value is therefore £178,000 The Lot values are based on forecast on the current rate of increase at sites currently affected by OPM and the expectation that OPM will spread to other sites in the coming years. This is not a guarantee of demand or value.
