About this contract

The University is looking to renew the measured term contract for building works of its existing premises throughout the campus. The university has over 100 buildings on and off campus ranging from teaching space and lecture theatres, laboratories and workshops, office space, student accommodation, farms and sports facilities. Building work may be undertaken in any of these environments. The scope of works includes the provision of various buildings works as and when required for the repair, maintenance and improvement of the University premises. The University typically contracts for these works using a Measured Term Framework Agreement. The University typically spends £2.5million to £5million per annum on these works. No guarantee of any value of works to be procured under this contract is given or implied by the University. This tender is for the appointment of contractors to deliver a framework to undertake building refurbishment and improvement works throughout the Universities property portfolio.
