About this contract
***Please note: As this is a call off from an existing framework agreement (the NEUPC Framework Agreement for Removal and Relocation Services FFE2004NE Lot 3), this notice is only applicable to suppliers that are on this framework.*** The transfer of the School of Medicine, Pharmacy and Health from Durham University (Stockton Campus) to Newcastle University will ensure a coherent and sustainable regional medical education provision for the future. It positions Newcastle as one of the few Universities in the leading Russell Group which will be able to offer programmes and research in medicine, dentistry, biomedical sciences, psychology and pharmacy with synergies across all three of its Faculties. The move requires relocation of laboratory equipment (identified on an asset register in-advance on the move), materials and personal office effects of up to 90 academic and professional support staff. Newcastle University wish to appoint a contractor to provide relocation services for the transfer of the School of Pharmacy, Health and Medicine from Durham University, Queen's Campus.
