About this contract
Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) wishes to invite Tenders for the supply of goods / services / works in respect of delivery, installation, collection, maintenance, repair and recycling of a range of health & social care equipment to children, young people and adults to support the Personalisation, Prevention and Well Being Agenda. The Northamptonshire Community Equipment Service(CES) and Minor Adaptations is commissioned through a Partnership between Northamptonshire County Council (acting as Lead Commissioner), Nene Clinical Commissioning Group and Corby Clinical Commissioning Group.The successful Potential Provider(s) will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by the Authority. Potential Providers are invited to tender for one or more of the LOTS. Lot 1: Community Equipment Service Lot 2: Minor Adaptations Lot 1: The provision of the Community Equipment service will include Provision of Simple Aids to Daily Living, Provision of Complex Aids to Daily Living, Sensory Equipment, Planned Preventative Maintenance, Cleaning and storing and recycling of equipment and safe disposal of equipment. The service will also provide information, advice and assessment services to people who may wish to privately purchase equipment and / or services, encouraging and enabling the public to access support and assistance to remain independent Lot 2: The provision of the Minor Adaptations Service will include minor adaptations works up to a maximum of £1,000 and Ceiling track hoists recycling scheme (the ceiling track hoists recycling scheme may be in excess of £1,000 per item). The minor adaptation service will include management and delivery of the minor adaptation service, guidance, signposting and home safety checks as well as ceiling track hoists recycling scheme with planned preventative maintenance. The service will also provide information, advice and assessment services to people who wish to privately purchase minor adaptations and / or services, encouraging and enabling the public to access support and assistance to remain independent.
