About this contract

The Council is proposing to construct a mountain bike park on the former nine hole section of the Delapre Golf Centre, Northampton. The mountain bike park will utilise the slopes, undulations, trees, vegetation and general landscape to create a series of winding trails for mountain bikers of all ages and abilities. The Council proposes to enter into one Contract for a fixed period of practical completion, the anticipated contract commencement date is expected to be the early part of 2022, with completion due around May/June 2022. The Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement process. All documents and communications issued by the Council's Procurement Team will be sent via the Council's e-Procurement portal provided by In-Tend. Fax, post and/or e-mail submissions will not be considered even if received before the relevant Deadline for Submission, set out in Table C, unless there is suitable justification for doing so (e.g. the system was not available). It is the responsibility of the potential supplier to prove if this is the case and acceptance of any bids which are not submitted via In-Tend for whatever reason, will be at the Council's absolute discretion. Where a potential supplier advises that a tender submission deadline may be or has been missed due to the Council's e-Procurement portal being unavailable, the Council should obtain a system report from In-Tend, prior to the Council exercising its discretion as to whether to accept or reject the Potential Suppliers Tender Response. The Award Criteria Questionnaire carries a total weight of 100%, split between Quality which is 60% and Price which is 40%, the project specific questions detailing the sub weighting and the scoring criteria is set out within the ITT documents and can be downloaded via In-Tend once you express an interest. Please note that a performance bond or parent company guarantee is required for this tender and will be detailed in the terms and conditions.
