NHS Sussex ICB has opened the NHS Sussex Nursing Home Any Qualified Provider (AQP) contract for new applicants.
This contract covers the provision of nursing home services for adults in CQC registered Nursing Homes and is applicable to Providers with nursing homes in West Sussex, East Sussex, Brighton, or the surrounding area.
Applications are open from Tuesday 1 April 2025 and will close at 5:00 pm on 13 May 2025. Applications must be submitted through CarePulse eProcurement (https://sussex-nhaqp-2025.carepulse.co.uk/).
Successful Providers will be added to the NHS Sussex Nursing Home AQP list. This AQP list is used by the ICB as the primary route for commissioning NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) placements for adults.

Nursing home Providers that are already on the NHS Sussex Nursing Home AQP contract do not need to apply.
The Contract does not guarantee any volume of activity or payment to the Provider. There is no minimum number of packages that the Provider can expect to receive through the contract.
