About this contract

Estimated Contract Value: £909,000 (Maximum budget for 2 year period) The Commissioner reserves the right to reject bids that exceed this threshold. Midlands and Lancashire CSU on behalf of NHS South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group are seeking suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver a Community Dermatology service for the population of NHS South Worcestershire CCG. The procurement will ensure a community based service that meets the needs of patients registered with a GP member practice of South Worcestershire CCG. Services need to be located across the South Worcestershire CCG area. The intent is to ensure patients receive the most clinically appropriate Dermatology service, delivered in a timely manner, determined by clinical need. Information and advice is to be given at the point of access and reinforced throughout treatment period. It is the intention that the contract duration will be for 2 years with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months. This service will be commissioned via an Open procurement process. It is envisaged that a single contract will be awarded to cover the geographic area of South Worcestershire CCG. The ITT will be live on 24th October 2016 on the Midlands and Lancashire CSU e-tendering procurement portal (Bravo) and will be open until 24th November 2016 at 12:00 Midday. All submissions will be evaluated using the scoring criterion which is contained within the ITT Instructions - Document 1. Clarifications may be asked during the procurement process, the deadline for ITT clarification questions is 10th November 2016 at 12:00 Midday. This procurement is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations (“Regulations”). Accordingly, the contracting authorities are only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations. The procedure which the contracting authorities are following is set out in the ITT. The CCG is a relevant body for the purpose of the National Health Service (Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) (No 2) Regulations 2013.
