About this contract
There is a requirement for the maintenance and support for the NHS LA Claims management system(CMS); and also for the hosting and disaster recovery. In 2004 the NHS LA commissioned the development of its case management systems (CMS and to align with the changing business processes of the organisation, CMS has rapidly and continually been updated/developed/enhanced to the point where it now forms part of a suite of mission critical and interdependent services utilised by NHS LA staff, our panel of solicitors and members of our schemes. The system now comprises: • Intranet • Case Management System • Document Transfer System, • Extranet, discussion forums • Claims Reporting Service • Disaster recovery hosting The NHS LA owns CMS and its suite of systems and the direction of travel for the system is that it will continue to be developed to drive automated business processes in the systems of our panel of solicitors and further streamline processes both internally and within the wider NHS in terms of closer collaboration and information sharing. A “re-platforming” of the system, (virtualization) has recently been completed and a full sustainability review of the system was undertaken in 2014 NHS LA is now seeking to procure a supplier for the support, development and maintenance of the system. Note: NHS LA are not looking to procure a new Claims Management System . This notice is to seek suppliers that can provide this support, maintenance, hosting and disaster recovery to the organisation. More details in the tender documents.
