About this contract
NHS Chorley & South Ribble and Greater Preston CCGs - Clinical Triage service - L-17-18 NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) are working on behalf of Chorley & South Ribble and Greater Preston CCGs who wish to procure a Referral Quality Improvement Scheme (Triage) service for patients living in the area. Clinical Triage is a way of monitoring; directing and appropriately managing patient referrals with the aim of ensuring that the most clinically effective and cost-effective outcomes are achieved, whilst at the same time respecting patients' rights to choice (as defined in the NHS Constitution). Location of Provider Premises: The location of the provider's premises is preferred to be within the CCGs' footprint of Chorley and South Ribble and Greater Preston, but this is not essential as the triage work will be undertaken remotely. The provider will be expected, however, to attend meetings at locations within the CCGs area. The clinical triage role will be undertaken by GPs registered with the GMC, with extensive knowledge and experience of local pathways and healthcare providers. To find out more or to respond to this opportunity please visit the NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU e-sourcing portal at https://mlcsu.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml Potential suppliers should be aware that clarifications to the tender documents should be submitted before [12 o'clock mid-day, 14th August 2017] and tender responses should be submitted before [12 o'clock mid-day, 21st August 2017].
