About this contract
Fareham Borough Council wishes to establish a range of specialist temporary worker providers to match the range of skills required from time-to-time to support the Council’s operation. The awarded suppliers will be referred to as 'framework suppliers' of the service for the duration of the Framework Agreement term. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be four (4) years commencing October 2016. The Council will consider all suppliers who; a) accept the framework agreement terms and b) provide services that match the Council’s operational need for temporary work provision. The Council will undertake an annual performance review, whereby the Council / Supplier can review the continued status as a framework service provider. Suppliers may be invited to become a Framework Supplier at any time during the framework term. Appointment to the Framework Agreement does not guarantee a specific value or volume of business by the Council to the Supplier, it serves only as a vehicle to source services from the supplier as and when Council business operations dictate in line with the working relationships detailed herein. Additional information: Suppliers should register free of charge on the South East Business Portal https://sebp.due-north.com/ under ‘Supplier Registration’ option. The Council uses e-Request for Quotations (eRFQ) and e-Invitation to Tenders (e-ITT) to select and award business to; • a single managing contractor OR • a number [n] of preferred suppliers OR • an SME consortia led by a managing contractor who satisfy the Councils selection criteria and have submitted compliant bids under this tender exercise.
