About this contract

The London Borough of Bromley is required to provide sufficient pupil places to meet the need of the increase in the number of children and young people in Bromley with an Educational Heath and Care Plan (EHCP). To meet the ongoing demand for provision of this type of accommodation and need, the authority is looking to provide a new 200 place Special Education Needs (SEN) secondary school. The requirement of this commission is that a Multi-Disciplinary Team should be formed of a single Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Practice as further detailed in the Specification of Scope of Services document and other tender documentation. The contract utilised for the purposes of this consultant appointment will be the NEC4 PSC Option A with Activity Schedule and inclusive of LBB amendments as required and defined) 2017.

The London Borough of Bromley is inviting tenders for the provision of a Multi Disciplinary Consultancy Services for A New SEN Secondary School using the Open Tender Procedure – further details in the Specification of Scope of Services document and ITT. All applications must be made through the London Tenders Portal (ProContract) only and not the contact details contained in this notice. Evaluation of the tenders will be based on the Council's evaluation methodology and in full compliance with UK Directives, the Council's Contract Procedure Rules, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the stated criteria. Evaluation of the criteria for quality will also include the operation of a minimum score thresholds. If a proposal receives a score below the required threshold, then the bid may not be considered further. The scoring methodology and matrix is included within the ITT. Prospective Tenderers are advised that the documents issued at this time in conjunction with the Find A Tender Service Contract Notice may be supplemented and/or amended as provided for in Regulation 53(6) Of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The service required comprises the provision of a Chartered (MRICS MCIOB /) Project Manager / Building Surveyor Led Multi-Disciplinary Team and Employers Agent Consultant duties. Covering (but not limited to) the following services as appropriate; Project management, Architectural Services, Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Quantity Surveying, CDM-C services and BSA 2022 compliance. The requirement of this commission is that the Multi-Disciplinary Team should be formed of a single Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Practice. The Lead Consultant (Project Manager) is to be responsible for the performance of the various other Consultant members of the Team.£900,000
