About this contract

Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) has a requirement for the provision of adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) to all staff involved in planned Use of Force (UOF) incidents. Equipment includes: body armour, guards and protectors, fire retardant clothing, gloves, footwear, helmets, batons, shields, handcuffs, kit bags, method of entry equipment, fire extinguishers, PAVA spray and leg restraint belts. The link in this notice will direct you to the e-tendering system. Please respond to the "Control and Restraint - All Lots" ITT in addition to the ITT for any Lots you are bidding for - these ITTs are clearly identifiable in the e-tendering portal. This requirement has been separated across 15 Lots. Suppliers may bid for as many or few Lots as they choose.
