About this contract

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is managing this process for and on behalf of NHS Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS Darlington CCG, NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-On-Tees CCG, NHS North Durham CCG, NHS South Tees CCG, who intend to commission a Mental Health Conveying Service covering the CCGs geographical areas.This service will ensure that patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 are conveyed to hospital in a timely manner.
