About this contract
North Yorkshire County Council wishes to award a contract for the delivery of a Making Every Contact Count (MECC) training programme: Wider Workforce. The MECC: wider workforce training programme aims to equip the North Yorkshire wider public health workforce with the skills and knowledge to carry out MECC conversations. The wider public health workforce is composed of those staff and volunteers working for organisations that have an impact on the wider determinants of health including (but not exclusively) housing organisations, district council staff, drug and alcohol services, NHS Trusts, the community and voluntary sector etc., and organisations who are contracted to deliver health and social care programmes. Additional information: Instructions to Suppliers: The Invitation to Bid and appendices must be downloaded, completed where necessary and re-attached along with any supporting documentation by the closing date of 10 October 2016 by 12 noon (UK time).
