About this contract

Mid Essex Heath Trust has a legal requirement to periodically inspect, test, record and issue Within Mid Essex Hospital Services (MEHT) as with any other healthcare organisation A/C ventilation is used extensively to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff. More specialised ventilation is provided in areas such as operating departments, critical care areas and isolation facilities for primary patient treatment and as such these systems are not covered under this tender process The Work required under this Contract shall be understood as being solely in connection with air-conditioning maintenance work that is to be undertaken within the Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. The duration of the contract shall be a 3 year period, with the option of continuing for a further year. Either party has the option of terminating the contract if they so wish, giving at least 3 months’ notice in writing to the other party.. At the end of the 3 year period, then the contract will be retendered in line with Trust policy.
