About this contract
The project comprises the planned maintenance of and reactive repairs to London Borough of Newham owned / managed lifts across a variety of sites. The contract objective is to provide a high quality comprehensive preventative lift maintenance service to the Client, in full compliance with the specification and legislative requirements. The Authority aims to improve the condition and reliability of, and customer satisfaction with, the passenger lift equipment in the housing stock. Some of the critical aspects in delivering a successful outcome will be:- 1. Development of Client / Service Provider relationships that are pro-active in adopting modern management techniques involving the Company, the Service Provider, the residents and the supply chain. 2. Achieve and maintain a 100% availability of lifts in the Contract Area. 3. Excellent resident liaison for planned maintenance works and servicing carried out at the agreed pre-determined times. 4. Increasing the proportion of repairs carried out on a “right first time” basis.
