About this contract

The contract is to replace SOX, SON and MBFU footway lighting luminaires with LED luminaires on resident roads. The contract will also include the replacement of life expired brackets with new galvanised steel brackets and 5m aluminium columns with new galvanised steel columns plus a small number of columns 32 no need to be moved to the rear of footpaths. The contract will require the contractor to quote for suggested LED luminaires and also propose LED luminaires for approval, supply and installation. Also the disposal of the existing luminaires. The contract scope is to: Replace 522 luminaires in residential road in Flackwell Heath and Loudwater, Buckinghamshire. Replace 118 aluminium columns with galvanised steel columns All luminaires installed to maintain existing lighting levels and turn on at 35 lux and off at 18 lux. Part night controllers 433 no are off between 0001 and 0500. All night controllers 89 no to have stepped dimming 70% from 2300 to 0300 and 30% to 0500. 20 no wide optic LED luminaires for footpaths will have all night control.
