About this contract
Lease Holder Roofing and Scaffold Services Following a review it has been agreed that support is required for our Roofing and scaffold services. Curo owns or manages approximately 12,000 affordable homes for social rent, intermediate rent and affordable home ownership. Curo also owns, manages or is responsible for 850 communal areas and a number of non-residential assets such as garages and commercial properties for which Curo have maintenance responsibility. Roofing repairs are becoming more and more common; demand could outstrip the service supplied at present. The new contract must deliver maintenance of roofing for Curo’s housing stock and provide a quick yet cost effective way of supplying scaffold whilst conveying a fair and transparent costed service to our Response Team and leaseholders where necessary. Contractors must understand that predicting volumes and therefore overall values for work is difficult and no guarantee is given regarding continuity or overall value and will, therefore, not be entitled to claim for loss of profit, or any other costs resulting from an alteration in the scope or volume. Contract term will be 3 Years with 2 optional 1 year extensions. Curo is tendering for the provision of the above requirement.
