About this contract
This contract notice, and its associated documents, describes the proposals for the new steel frame canopy to cover LCT 7074 (the last surviving Landing Craft Tank in the UK). The detailed specification, fixing details and final sizes of the steelwork are to be developed with the appointed steelwork fabricator. The successful steelwork fabricator (Steelwork Contractor) will be responsible for developing the current design, manufacture and installation of the LCT canopy structure. The Steelwork Contractor will be named/novated to the Main Contractor (Principal Contractor) to construct the canopy following the necessary ground works. The Main Contractor will be responsible for cladding and fitting out the Canopy following the installation of the steelwork which forms this Contract.
