About this contract

1.1 Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is currently having a new facility constructed at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, in the south of Cambridge, off of the M11 motorway. 1.2 When the Hospital services relocate, it is understood that the new facility is not large enough to accommodate all administrative services and therefore much of this provision needs to be located off site and within a reasonable distance from the main Hospital Campus. 1.3 In early 2017 the lease for Justinian House was signed, delivering the Trust in the region of 169No 'off site' desk spaces that would accommodate several of the non-essential administrative departments and teams. 1.4 Justinian House is located on Spitfire Close, which is accessed via the main road into Ermine Business Park, Lancaster Way, which is immediately adjacent to the A141 from the Spittals Interchange/ A14 1.5 The works comprise of installation of new partitioning, doors, modifications of existing services and installation of staff kitchenette services Additional information: As part of the process the Contractor shall visit site to acquaint themselves with the site, the extent of the work and the conditions under which it is to be carried out. The contractor is to contact the Papworth Hospital's Estates Projects Manager to make arrangements.
